This sensor operates with a through-beam system in opposed mode and includes a TEACH mode for easy setup. It is equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for straightforward connection and has an M18 threaded mount for secure installation. The sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and is housed in a durable thermoplastic with an acrylic lens, ensuring protection up to IP67 and NEMA 6 standards. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. The QS18EK6RVQ8 offers a sensing distance of up to 20 meters and utilizes visible red light with a wavelength of 625 nm. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and provides quick response times of 1ms for ON/OFF operations. The sensor also features 2 x digital outputs (PNP/NPN transistor) for versatile signaling options.
