Banner Engineering QS18VN6LP is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for versatile applications, featuring an M18 threaded mount for secure installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and is built in a rectangular shape with a thermoplastic housing and acrylic lens for durability. This sensor is part of the QS18 series and employs a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment for precise sensing, offering a sensing distance of up to 3.5m. It emits visible red light and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. The QS18VN6LP is equipped with a pre-wired 6.5ft / 2m cable with bare end flying leads for easy connection and features a digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) for integration into various systems. It is designed to operate on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and is protected against ingress with an IP67 NEMA 6 rating, ensuring its functionality in demanding environments.
