About the product
Banner Engineering S18-2VPLP-5M is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the S18-2 series, designed in a retro-reflective mode. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 5m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is rated with a degree of protection of IP67. Its shape is an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel, and it includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor). The sensing distance of the sensor is 6m, and it emits visible red light with a wavelength of 624 nm. The response time is 1.5ms (0.0015 s), and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. The thread size for installation is M18.
