Banner Engineering S18-2VPLV-Q3 is a photo-electric sensor from the S18-2 series, designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment for range setting. It features a thermoplastic housing, acrylic lens, and a PVC connector. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail that terminates with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is rated with an IP67 degree of protection, indicating its dust tightness and immersion resistance. Its shape is an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel, and it includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor). The sensing distance is up to 7.5m, and it utilizes visible red light with a wavelength of 624 nm. The response time is 1.5ms / 0.0015 s, and it offers Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
