About the product
Banner Engineering SLSCE14-1350Q8 is a safety light curtain designed for protective applications, part of the SLS series 14-30mm safety light curtains. This cascadable model features an emitter alone, housed in aluminum with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. It comes pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The device offers a protective height of 1350mm and is finished in a yellow housing. It operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. With an IP65 degree of protection, it is well-suited for various industrial environments. The net dimensions include a width of 36mm, height of 1420mm, and depth of 46mm. It features a 14mm beam spacing/pitch, 2 x digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs), and a sensing distance ranging from 10cm to 6m. The light curtain emits infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 850 nm, has a response time of 43ms, and offers a resolution of 14mm for finger detection.
