About the product
Banner Engineering SLSP14-450P88 is a safety light curtain from the 14/30 series designed for finger detection with a resolution of 14mm. It features an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps, and it is pre-wired with a 300mm pigtail that terminates with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector. This part has a protective height of 450mm and comes in a yellow housing. It operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. The SLSP14-450P88 is IP65 rated, indicating protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It offers a sensing distance between 10cm and 6m, with infrared (IR) light color at a wavelength of 850 nm. The safety light curtain provides two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) and one digital output (24Vdc; sourcing/PNP transistor; 75mA) for auxiliary purposes. Additionally, it includes one digital input (10Vdc-30Vdc) for EDM input and another for RESET input, with a response time of 19ms / 0.019 seconds.
