About the product
Banner Engineering SM91RAN is a photo-electric sensor from the 912 series, designed as a through-beam system or opposed mode code A. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in a black, polybutylene terephthalate (P.B.T.) with an acrylic lens. It features a pre-wired connection with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The SM91RAN operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal, and is mounted using an M30 threaded mount. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP66, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 12, and 13. The sensor has a rectangular shape with dimensions of 37 mm in width, 51 mm in height, and 36 mm in depth. It includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and is capable of sensing distances up to 30m.
