About the product
Banner Engineering T18-2VPDL-Q8 is a photo-electric sensor from the T18-2 series, designed with a diffuse mode potentiometer adjustment for range setting. It features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. This sensor operates within a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can function in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C. It offers a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, IP68, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, making it suitable for harsh environments. The T18-2VPDL-Q8 has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary), and provides a sensing distance of up to 750mm. It emits visible red light and has a quick response time of 1.5ms. Additionally, it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and is designed with an M18 thread size.
