Banner Engineering T18-2VPRL-Q8 is a photo-electric sensor designed as part of the T18-2 series, featuring a through-beam system in an opposed mode configuration. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in a thermoplastic body with an acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The T18-2VPRL-Q8 offers a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, IP68, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions. Its shape is an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel, and it features 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary) for signaling. The sensing distance is up to 25 meters, utilizing visible red light for detection.
