About the product
Banner Engineering T18-2VPFF50-Q8 is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor from the T18-2 series, designed with a background suppression system. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a high degree of protection rated at IP67, IP68, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, making it suitable for harsh environments. Its M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape facilitates easy installation. The T18-2VPFF50-Q8 provides one digital output (PNP transistor; complementary) and has a sensing distance of 50mm. It emits visible red light and features a quick response time of 1.5ms. The operating modes available are Light-ON and Dark-ON, with a thread size of M18.
