About the product
Banner Engineering T18-2VPLPC-9M is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the T18-2 series, designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment for range setting. It features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. This sensor is pre-wired with a 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The ambient air temperature range for operation is from -40 to +70 degrees Celsius. It offers a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, IP68, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions. The sensor has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary), and provides a sensing distance of up to 6m. It emits visible red light and has a response time of 1.5ms or 0.0015 seconds. The operating modes available are Light-ON and Dark-ON, with a thread size of M18.
