About the product
Banner Engineering T18-2VPRL-Q8-G4 is a photo-electric sensor from the T18-2 series designed with a through-beam system or opposed mode. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in a thermoplastic material with an acrylic lens. It is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The T18-2VPRL-Q8-G4 offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67, IP68, and IP69K, as well as NEMA 6P, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions. Its shape is an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel, and it features 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary). The sensing distance of the sensor is 10m, and it can operate with both infrared (IR) and visible red light, with a response time of 1.5ms or 0.0015 s. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON, with a wavelength of 624 nm, and it has an M18 thread size.
