About the product
Banner Engineering T30UXDB is an ultrasonic distance sensor from the T30UX series, featuring a time-of-flight system with extended temperature range and TEACH mode for precise distance measurement. This sensor is housed in a thermoplastic material and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads for easy installation. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can be mounted using a threaded mount. The T30UXDB is designed to work within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for harsh environments. Its shape is an M30 cylindrical threaded/barrel, and it includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) for connectivity. With a sensing distance of 20cm to 2m and a 174kHz transmission frequency, this sensor ensures accurate distance measurements. It also features protection functions against short-circuit and can operate in both NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed) modes, with a thread size of M30.
