Festo DSNU-1-8-PPV-A is a double-acting single-ended pneumatic air cylinder designed for mounting via accessories. It features a round cylindrical shape with a high-alloy stainless steel cylinder barrel, wrought aluminium alloy cover, and a high-alloy stainless steel piston rod. The static seals are made from nitrile rubber (NBR) and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPE-U(PU)), ensuring compatibility with a wide range of operating environments. This model operates efficiently within an ambient air temperature range of -20°C to +80°C and offers moderate-corrosion stress resistance (CRC Class 2). It is part of the DSNU Imperial/Inch series, based on ISO6432, and includes built-in magnet adjustable cushioning at both ends for enhanced performance. The cylinder is designed for operation with oil lubrication and allows for position sensing via a proximity sensor. It utilizes compressed air in accordance with ISO8573-1:2010 [7;4;4] standards. The connection type includes a 3/8-24 UNF-2A male threaded rod and a 1/8" NPT threaded pneumatic port, supporting an operating pressure range of +1 to +10 bar.
