About the product

Ixxat by HMS Networks 1.01.0331.42000 is a CAN/CAN FD repeater designed to facilitate communication within automation systems. It supports CAN bitrates from 5kBit/s to 1000kBit/s and CAN FD bitrates with an arbitration rate up to 1000kBit/s and a data rate up to 8000kbit/s, with the capability for user-defined bit rates. The actual maximum data rate may vary based on operating conditions such as cable length and settings. This repeater does not include a CAN bus termination resistor and can support a maximum of 120 bus nodes. It features galvanic isolation of 1kV for 1 second and requires a supply voltage of 9-36Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Connections are made through 4 x 4-poles plug-in screw connectors for CAN (2 of which are switchable to CAN FD), one 4-poles plug-in screw connector for power, and one mini USB 2.0 connector. The design includes 8 x LED indicators for operational status. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85 degrees Celsius and offers IP20 protection. The unit is housed in plastic (PA) with dimensions of H99mm x W22.5mm x D114.5mm and includes features for overload and polarity protection. It is designed for DIN rail mounting and has a typical power consumption of 220mA at 12Vdc input and 110mA at 24Vdc input.
