About the product
Ewon by HMS Networks IOX-DAIO is an I/O unit within the Netbiter series designed to serve as an I/O extender with a serial baud rate ranging from 2400 to 115200. It features an LED indicator for operational status and has dimensions of H109mm x W22.6mm x D97.5mm. The unit offers a variety of connection types, including a 4-pin connector for logic power and RS-485 communication on the underside, and an 18-way screw connection on the front. It operates on the Modbus RS-485 communication protocol and requires a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 24Vdc. Designed for DIN rail mounting, it can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -10 to +50°C. The IOX-DAIO provides 1 analog output with multiple output ranges and a 12-bits resolution, supporting a typical drift of 100ppm/°C. Current consumption is specified at 115mA with a 12Vdc logic supply, 58mA with a 24Vdc logic supply, and 25mA with a 24Vdc field supply. It includes 4 digital inputs with counters and isolation, 2 digital outputs with relay function and isolation, and 8 analog inputs accommodating various signal types and sensors with specified isolation and drift. The unit is designed to withstand 5-95% relative humidity (non-condensing) and can be stored in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C.
