Panasonic HL-AC1 is an ultra-compact laser collimated beam sensor amplifier designed with a comprehensive range of functions including a measured value display, setting value, light amount value resolution display, and standard received light setting. It features automatic scaling, scaling display reverse, ECO display, display digits limitation, and various hold functions such as sample hold, peak hold, bottom hold, peak to peak hold, self peak hold, and self bottom hold. The HL-AC1 also offers zero reset, initial reset, ON-delay timer, OFF-delay timer, one-shot timer, differentiation, sensitivity selection, threshold value direct setting, positioning teaching, 2-point teaching, automatic teaching, and hysteresis width variability. Additional capabilities include monitor focus, non-measuring time setting, (A – B) calculation, (A + B) calculation, mutual interference prevention, laser deterioration detection, and key lock with zero reset memory. It emits a red light with a wavelength of 650 nm and is pre-wired with a 2m 10-core 0.09mm2 composite cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The HL-AC1 provides 1 x analog output (4-20mA) for linear output, has a current consumption of 190mA / 0.19 A, and includes 3 x digital outputs (NPN / 24Vdc / 50mA) for judgement outputs HIGH/PASS/LOW. Visual position indicators are facilitated by a green LED for normal operation, an orange LED for when the measured value is greater than the HIGH threshold value, and a yellow LED for when the LOW threshold value is greater than the measured value. The display is a 5-digit red LED display.
