Pilz PILZ-632283 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. This robust type emitter part operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 750mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII4F sub-range. The device is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. It operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. The PILZ-632283 has a net height of 754mm, a width of 35mm, and a depth of 40mm, with a maximum cable length of 50m. Its sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The device also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 11ms with beam coding and 42.3ms otherwise. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range for storage of -25 to +70°C.
