Pilz PILZ-751160 is a safety relay designed for single or dual-channel operation with capabilities for safety gate monitoring, instantaneous E-STOP monitoring, limit switch monitoring, and light beam device monitoring for both type 2 and type 4. It supports monitored manual reset, start-up testing, and self-test functions. This part is suitable for DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60 °C. It has a net height of 100 mm and is specifically designed for furnace safety valve applications. The rated current for safety output contacts is 6A at 24Vdc (DC-1), 1.5A at 240Vac (AC-1), 0.4A at 24Vdc (DC-13), and 0.6A at 230Vac (AC-15). Connection is facilitated through plug-in/detachable spring terminal connections. The supply voltage ranges from 40.8-264Vac for AC and 40.8-264Vdc for DC, with nominal voltages specified for both AC and DC inputs. It belongs to the PNOZ s4.1 sub-range, with dimensions of W22.5mm x D120mm, and offers a degree of protection of IP40. The housing is made of PC material, and the net width is 22.5 mm. Power consumption is rated at 2.5 W. The operating modes include options for single-channel operation without redundancy, dual-channel operation with or without detection of shorts across contacts, automatic start, manual start, and monitored start with both falling and rising edge detection. It can increase the number of available instantaneous safety contacts by connecting to a contact expander module or external contactors/relays. Digital outputs include 3 x instantaneous safety outputs and 1 x instantaneous auxiliary output, plus 1 x auxiliary output (semiconductor output). It features 2 operating modes for protection functions and has 2 x digital inputs plus 1 x reset/start input.
