Pilz PILZ-773603 is a safety I/O unit designed for DIN rail mounting, compatible with both 35mmx7.5mm top hat and 27mm recess width rails. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +60°C and has a net height of 94 mm. This unit features both screw terminal and spring-loaded terminal connections, requiring a 7mm stripping length for screw connections and a 9mm stripping length for spring-loaded connections. As part of the Safe I/O module sub-range, it offers a degree of protection of IP20 and requires a supply voltage of 20.4-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The bottom housing is made of PPO, and the front housing is ABS, with a net width of 22.5 mm. It supports wire cross-sections ranging from 0.25 to 1.5mm2 for 1-core flexible wires with screw terminals and 0.25 to 0.75mm2 for 2-cores with the same cross-section, flexible with crimp connectors or with TWIN crimp connectors for screw terminals. For spring-loaded terminals, it accommodates 0.25 to 1.5mm2 for 1-core flexible without crimp connector and 0.25 to 0.75mm2 for 1-core flexible with crimp connector. The power consumption is 101 W from an external power supply, with a net depth of 121 mm. It is designed for storage in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C. The unit includes 1 x digital output for semiconductor output with a 35ms response and 1 x digital output for test pulse at 24Vdc, 4A. It features short-circuit proof protection, a rated insulation voltage of 30 V, and a maximum current consumption of 4A for the test pulse output current. The time delays include a maximum input delay of 15ms, a switch-off delay of 35ms, a switch-on delay of 5s, and a supply interruption before de-energization of 20ms.
