Pilz PILZ-773635 is an I/O unit designed as a digital output expansion module suitable for DIN rail mounting (35mmx7.5mm; horizontal). It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +60°C without forced convection and up to +55°C with forced convection off. The unit has a net height of 94 mm and is designed for connection to a base unit. It features a rated current of 0.5mA for residual current at a "0" signal and 0.5A for semiconductor output with a signal level at "1" of Ub-0.5Vdc. The connection types include screw terminal connections and spring-loaded terminal connections, with stripping lengths of 7mm for screw connections and 9mm for spring-loaded connections. As part of the Communication module sub-range, it measures 27mm in width, offers a degree of protection of IP20, and requires a supply voltage of 20.4-28.8Vdc for output and 4.9-5.1Vdc for module supply via the base unit. The bottom housing is made of PPO, and the front housing is ABS, with a net width of 45 mm. It supports wire cross-sections ranging from 0.25 to 1.5mm2 for various connection types and has a power consumption of 198 W for external output supply and 0.6 W from supply via the base module. The net depth is 121 mm, and it can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C. It features 16 digital outputs, short-circuit proof, galvanic isolation, and potential isolation protection functions, with a rated insulation voltage of 30 V and time delays of 5s for switch-on and 20ms for supply interruption before de-energization.
