Pilz PILZ-774549 is a safety relay designed for single or dual-channel operation with functions including safety gate monitoring, instantaneous and delayed E-STOP monitoring, limit switch monitoring, and monitored manual reset. It is suitable for DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. This model, part of the PNOZ XV3 sub-range, measures 87mm in height, 45mm in width, and 121mm in depth, with a degree of protection rated at IP40. It features fixed screw terminal connections and is constructed with a PPO housing and an ABS front housing. The safety output contacts are rated at 8A for both 24Vdc (DC-1) and 240Vac (AC-1), 7A for 24Vdc (DC-13), and 5A for 230Vac (AC-15). The supply voltage requirement is 20.4-26.4Vdc (24Vdc nominal), and it has a power consumption of 4.5W. The operating modes include options for single-channel operation without redundancy, dual-channel operation with or without detection of shorts across contacts, automatic start, and monitored start. It offers 3 x instantaneous safety outputs and 2 x delayed safety outputs with a time-delay selection ranging from 0.3s to 300s. Additionally, it has 2 x digital inputs, 1 x start input, and 1 x reset input, supporting an increase in the number of available contacts through the connection of contact expansion modules or external contactors/relays.
