Pilz PILZ-774725 is a safety relay designed for single or dual-channel operation with capabilities for safety gate monitoring, instantaneous E-STOP monitoring, limit switch monitoring, and monitored manual reset. It features DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. The device has a net height of 87 mm, a rated current for safety output contacts of 8A at 24Vdc (DC-1), 8A at 240Vac (AC-1), 7A at 24Vdc (DC-13), and 5A at 230Vac (AC-15), with fixed screw terminal connections. The supply voltage (AC) requirement is 195.5-264Vac (230Vac / 240Vac nom.), belonging to the PNOZ X6 sub-range. Dimensions include a width of 45mm and a depth of 121mm, with a degree of protection rated at IP40. The housing is made of PPO with an ABS front, and the power consumption is 6.5 VA. Operating modes include single-channel operation without redundancy, detecting earth faults in the start and input circuit, and dual-channel operation that does not detect shorts across contacts but includes redundant input circuits. It also features automatic, manual, and monitored start options. The relay has 3 x instantaneous safety outputs (3NO / 3xSPST each made of 2 N.O. and 1 N.C. contacts in series; 8A 24Vdc DC-1 or 240Vac AC-1 resistive load), 2 x digital inputs (24Vdc; 50mA), and 1 x start input, allowing for the connection of contact expansion modules or external contactors/relays to increase the number of available contacts.
