Pilz PILZ-774735 is a safety relay designed for single or dual-channel operation with functions including safety gate monitoring, instantaneous E-STOP monitoring, limit switch monitoring, and light beam device monitoring for both type 2 (with or without test pulse) and type 4 devices. It features a monitored manual reset and is suitable for DIN rail mounting. The operating ambient air temperature range is -10 to +55 °C. This model has a net height of 87 mm, a rated current for safety output contacts of 8A at 24Vdc (DC-1), 8A at 240Vac (AC-1), 7A at 24Vdc (DC-13), and 5A at 230Vac (AC-15). It offers fixed screw terminal connections and requires a supply voltage of 93.5-121Vac (110Vac nominal). Part of the PNOZ X4 sub-range, it measures 45mm in width, has a degree of protection of IP40, and is constructed with a PPO housing and an ABS front housing. The power consumption is 5 VA, and the net depth is 121 mm. Its operating modes include single-channel operation without redundancy, dual-channel operation with and without detection of shorts across contacts, automatic start, manual start, and monitored start. It can increase the number of available contacts by connecting contact expansion modules or external contactors/relays. The digital outputs consist of 3 x instantaneous safety outputs and 1 x instantaneous auxiliary output, with protection functions accommodating 2 operating modes. It also includes 2 x digital inputs, 1 x feedback input, and 1 x start input.
