Schneider Electric ATV71HC20Y is a Variable Speed/Frequency Drive (VSD/VFD) / Inverter from the Altivar 71 series, designed for variable speed and frequency control with a U/F ratio of 2 points / 5 points. It features sensorless flux vector control, ENA System, and vector control with or without speed feedback, capable of delivering 220% of the nominal motor torque for 2 seconds and 170% of the nominal motor torque for 60 seconds. This model comes with a built-in EMC filter, built-in heatsink, and a coated version for enhanced durability. It operates on a supply voltage of 425-759Vac, with specific nominal voltages at 480Vac, 500Vac, 600Vac, and 690Vac. The dimensions are H1190mm x W595mm x D377mm, and it has a conformal coating for chemical resistance. The degree of protection is IP30 UL type 1. The rated current specifications are 240A at 500Vac, 192A at 575Vac, 220A at 690Vac, with a maximum current of 396A for 2 seconds and 360A for 60 seconds. It supports wall mounting and uses Modbus and CANopen communication protocols. Designed for a 3-phase network with an output frequency range of 0.1-500 Hz, it includes 1 analog output, 5+1 digital inputs with programmable functions, and 3 digital outputs. The analog inputs include one for -10...+10Vdc and another for 0-10Vdc / 0-20mA signals. The current consumption is rated at 227A for 500Vac (160kW), 204A for 600Vac (250 HP), and 212A for 690Vac (200kW), with rated active power of 200kW at 690Vac and 160kW at 500Vac.
