Turck BI2U-EH6.5-RP6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EH6 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a 1.4305 (303) stainless steel housing, a PA12-GF20 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, a PP (Polypropylene) end cap, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It has a 6.5mm diameter smooth cylindrical/barrel shape (Picoprox) and offers a degree of protection rated at IP68. The maximum switching frequency is 2kHz / 2000Hz, and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. The BI2U-EH6.5-RP6X features 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA and a sensing distance of 2mm. It includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, and operates in a Normally Closed (NC) mode.
