About the product

Turck NI15-G30K-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting metal objects within a 15mm sensing distance. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and features a short barrel design with an M30 fully threaded shape. It comes pre-wired with a 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads for easy installation. The sensor is part of the NI...-G30 series and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for use in environments where dust and moisture resistance is required. It operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and has a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz. The housing is made of chrome-plated brass with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face and an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, while the cable jacket is PVC. The sensor features a digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) and includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. Its operating mode is Normally Open (NO), and it has a response time of 8ms / 0.008 s, with a control circuit rated current of 200mA / 0.2 A and a current consumption of 15mA (no-load current).
