About the product

Wago 279-992 is a feed-through terminal block featuring CAGE-CLAMP spring connections. It is designed with a single deck and includes a center marking slot, making it suitable for Ex e II applications. This terminal block is rated for currents up to 15A in Ex e II, 10A under UL, and 10A under CSA standards. It supports a rated impulse voltage (Uimp) of 4 mm and is compatible with DIN-35 rail for control voltage (AC) mounting. The terminal block is designed for use with 0.08mm^2 to 1.5mm^2 fine stranded or solid conductors and #28AWG to #16AWG fine stranded or solid conductors. It is constructed from Polyamide (PA) 66, ensuring durability and a wide compatibility range. The terminal block has dimensions of H52mm x W4mm x D27mm and accommodates 2-wires (1 clamp + 1 clamp) for normally closed (NC) auxiliary contacts. It is rated for a voltage of 600 V under UL and CSA, and 550 V for Ex e II applications. The net width is specified for 1 feed-through pole (1P), and the product is presented in light gray.
