Wago 750-8217/025-000 is a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) CPU unit featuring DHCP, DNS, NTP, FTP, FTPS, SNMP, HTTP, HTTPS, and SSH functionalities. It operates on a supply voltage of 18-31.2Vdc via wiring (24Vdc nom.) and includes connection options such as 2 x RJ45 connectors for fieldbus, a 9-pin D-sub connector for serial port communications, and cage-clamp connections for both 2-pin system and 6-pin field configurations. This unit is designed with a mobile radio module and an extended temperature range for operation between -20°C and +60°C, and for storage between -40°C and +85°C. It supports communication speeds of 10Mbit/s and 100Mbit/s, with a degree of protection rated at IP20. The net width is 102.5 mm, and it supports various communication protocols including Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP, GSM, UMTS, LTE (4G), RS-232, and RS-485. The housing is made from Polycarbonate (PC) / Polyamide (PA) 6.6, and it can accommodate up to 250 connections per node and 64 field devices. The unit includes 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal flash memory, 128kB of non-volatile memory for software, 32MB for program memory, 128MB for data memory, and 128kB of non-volatile memory for hardware. It is part of the PFC200 series, with a shock resistance according to EN 60068-2-27 of --15g, and a current draw of 550mA at 24Vdc nominal load and 700mA for system supply. Programming and configuration can be done via Instruction List (IL), Ladder Diagram (LD), Function Block Diagram (FBD), Continuous Function Chart (CFC), Structured Text (ST), Sequential Function Chart (SFC), e!COCKPIT, WAGO-I/O-CHECK, Web-Based Management, e!RUNTIME library, and CODESYS Library. The unit is designed to operate in environments with up to 95% relative humidity (non-condensing) and is powered by a Real-time Linux operating system with an RT-Preempt patch. It also features an SD and SDHC card slot supporting up to 32GB and is equipped with a Cortex A8 1GHz processor.
