About the product
Banner Engineering SM2A30PRLQDC is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, part of the SM30 series. This sensor operates as the receiver in an opposed mode "C" modulation frequency system and is rated for washdown environments. It features a thermoplastic housing and comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin 7/8" mini connector for connectivity. The sensor is designed to work with a supply voltage range of 24Vac to 240Vac, with nominal voltages at 200Vac and 220Vac. It can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The SM2A30PRLQDC offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 6P, and IP69K, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions. Its shape is an M30 cylindrical threaded/barrel, and it includes 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output) for signaling. The sensing distance of this sensor is up to 150 meters, utilizing infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm. It has a response time of 10ms (0.01 s) and operates in a Light-ON mode.
