About the product
Banner Engineering SM2A30SRLMC1 W/30 is a photo-electric sensor from the SM30 series, designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode "A" modulation frequency, suitable for washdown applications. This sensor, functioning as a receiver alone, is encased in a stainless steel housing, ensuring durability. It comes pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m 600Vac cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, facilitating easy installation. The sensor operates within a supply voltage range of 24Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) and can function in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C. It boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 6P, and IP69K, making it highly resistant to dust and water ingress. The SM2A30SRLMC1 W/30 features a M30 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape for straightforward mounting. It offers a single digital output (Solid-state AC output) and has a sensing distance of up to 150m. The sensor operates with an infrared light source at a wavelength of 880 nm and has a quick response time of 10ms / 0.01 s. Its operating mode is Light-ON, designed for a variety of detection applications.
