Banner Engineering DX80G2M6S-P8 is a gateway designed for surface mounting with a polycarbonate housing, polycarbonate rotary dial cover, polyester labels, EDPM rubber cover gasket, and nitrile rubber, ensuring durability in various environments. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6. The dimensions of this rectangular-shaped gateway are H59.8mm x W126.7mm x D117.4mm. It operates on a transmission frequency of 2400 MHz and includes 12 x digital inputs (30Vdc 3mA; Sourcing) which can also function as digital sourcing outputs (100mA 30Vdc). As part of the SureCross DX80 series, this performance gateway features I.O. with 2 x buttons, 2 x bi-color LEDs, employs FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) technology alongside Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) for enhanced communication reliability. The connection is facilitated through a wiring chamber with screw-clamp connections, 4 x Pg7 cable accesses, a gld. 1/2" NPT threaded cable access, a 5-pin M12 male connector, and an RP-SMA connector. It requires a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc (12Vdc-24Vdc nom.) and communicates via RS-485 Modbus RTU protocol. With a frequency of 2.4GHz ISM band at 65mW, it can achieve a maximum transmission distance of 3.2km at nominal emission power.
