Banner Engineering IF21S, part of the Glass fiber series, is a fiber optic sensor designed with a diffuse-reflective system for individual fiber in-line sensing. It features a cylindrical (smooth) probe tip made from brass, with the sensing element composed of glass fiber and protected by a stainless steel monocoil. The sensor has a length of 1ft / 300mm and a diameter of 3.2mm for the fiber core. It is designed to operate in ambient air temperatures up to +249°C.
