About the product

Banner Engineering M12ND W/30 is a photo-electric sensor from the M12 series designed with a diffuse mode potentiometer adjustment. It features a visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm and is housed in nickel-plated brass with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. This sensor is shaped in an M12 cylindrical threaded/barrel form and comes pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The M12ND W/30 can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60 °C and offers a sensing distance of 400mm. It is equipped with one digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) and has a response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. This sensor is designed for both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and provides a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP68, NEMA 5, and NEMA 6.
