About the product
Banner Engineering M12NFF75 is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor within the M12 series, featuring a background suppression system with potentiometer adjustment. It emits visible red light from a nickel-plated brass housing with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens in an M12 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads and operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.). The wavelength of the emitted light is 680 nm. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60 °C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP68, NEMA 5, and NEMA 6. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON, with a thread size of M12 and a sensing distance of 75mm. It also features 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s.
