About the product
Banner Engineering M18-3VPLV-2M is a photo-electric sensor from the M18-3 (Nickel-plated brass) series designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. It features a visible red light with a wavelength of 624 nm and is housed in a nickel-plated brass material with an acrylic lens. This sensor is shaped in an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel form and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40...+70 °C. The M18-3VPLV-2M offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and IP69K, with an operating mode that includes Light-ON and Dark-ON options. It has a thread size of M18, a sensing distance of 7.5m, and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s.
