Banner Engineering M18TB6E is a non-contact infrared (IR) temperature switch/sensor, part of the M18T series, designed for temperature measurement. It features an enclosed plastic optical lens and operates with a TEACH mode for easy setup. The sensor has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with a housing made of Stainless steel 304, an ABS / Polycarbonate (PC) push button housing, Thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) push button, and Acrylic light pipes. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads for connection. The supply voltage required is 12Vdc-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. It can measure temperatures ranging from 0 to +300°C and is suitable for ambient air temperatures from -20 to +70°C. The sensor offers a degree of protection of IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring durability in various environments. It features a thread size of M18 and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) and 1 x digital output (NPN transistor) for versatile connectivity. The response time of the sensor is 25ms / 0.025 s.
