Banner Engineering MI9E W/30 is a photo-electric sensor designed for precise detection tasks, featuring an emitter alone configuration. It is equipped with an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. This sensor is part of the MIAD9 NAMUR series and utilizes a through-beam system with opposed mode potentiometer adjustment for fine-tuning. It comes pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, ensuring easy integration into various systems. The MI9E W/30 offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67 and compatible with NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13 standards, making it suitable for challenging environments. It requires a supply voltage of 5Vdc to 15Vdc, with 12Vdc nominal, and is housed in a durable thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. The sensor's rectangular shape is designed for straightforward mounting, and it can detect objects up to 6m away using infrared (IR) light.
