Banner Engineering PBF46TMB5 is a fiber optic sensor designed with a diffuse-reflective system featuring a ferrule end tip and bifurcated fiber for in-line sensing. It operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and comes with a cylindrical (smooth) end tip. The sensing end is made of stainless steel, while the fiber is plastic with a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath. It has a diameter of 5.2mm at the end and a 1mm fiber core. The total length of the sensor is 6ft / 2m.
