About the product

Banner Engineering PIPS66UMSQMAP is a fiber optic sensor designed for precise detection tasks. It operates within an ambient air temperature of up to +70°C. This sensor features a through-beam system, also known as an opposed mode, with a miniature probe tip pair of individual fibers positioned side by side in a right-angled sensing orientation. The fiber core diameter is 0.5mm, belonging to the Plastic fiber series. The probe tip is cylindrical (smooth) in shape, constructed with a stainless steel sensing end, while the fiber is made of plastic with a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath. The total length of the fiber is 6ft or approximately 2 meters.
