Banner Engineering PIT430UHF is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an opposed mode pair of individual fibers for in-line sensing. This sensor falls under the Plastic fiber series and is equipped with a 1mm fiber core. It is designed to operate in ambient air temperatures up to +70°C. The sensor's construction includes a cylindrical (threaded) probe tip made of nickel-plated brass for the sensing end, with the fiber itself being plastic and the sheath composed of polyethylene (PE). The total length of the fiber is 33ft / 10m, facilitating versatile installation options.

Processing times are 80ns/step for basic instructions up to 3000 steps, with a minimum of 2.2µs, and 320ns/step for high-level instructions up to 3000 steps, with a minimum of 580ns/step for basic instructions after 3000 steps. Operating modes include periodical interrupt (0.5ms-1.5s) execution, interrupt program execution, constant scan execution, and program edition during RUN download in RUN mode.
