About the product
Banner Engineering PIT43U is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an opposed mode pair of individual fibers with a high-flex in-line sensing capability. It operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and comes with a 1mm fiber core diameter. The design includes a cylindrical (threaded) probe tip made of stainless steel for the sensing end, while the fiber itself is encased in a Steelskin fiber sheath for enhanced durability. The total length of the sensor is 6ft / 2m, making it suitable for a variety of industrial applications where precise and compact sensing solutions are required.
