Banner Engineering Q40RW3R W/30 is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring a receiver alone configuration. It is equipped with an M30 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. This sensor is part of the Q40 AC series and comes pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, facilitating easy integration into various systems. It requires a supply voltage of 20Vac-250Vac, with nominal values at 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac. The Q40RW3R W/30 offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6P, ensuring durability in harsh environments. Its rectangular, thermoplastic housing is designed to withstand demanding conditions, and it can detect objects up to 60m away using infrared light with a wavelength of 950 nm. This sensor operates in Dark-ON mode and features a single digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type) with a response time of 16ms for turning on and 8ms for turning off.
