Banner Engineering Q40SN6LP W/30 is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for retro-reflective mode operation. It features an M30 threaded mount for secure installation and is equipped with a pre-wired 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy connection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is housed in a durable thermoplastic material. It belongs to the Q40 DC series and offers a sensing distance of up to 6m with a visible red light source at a wavelength of 680 nm. The Q40SN6LP W/30 supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and provides a digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a quick response time of 3ms / 0.003 s. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and is protected to IP67 NEMA 6P standards, ensuring its operation in challenging environments.
