It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C. This sensor is equipped with a background suppression system with potentiometer adjustment, ensuring precise detection. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector for easy connection. As part of the QS18..AF mechanically adjustable background suppression series, it offers a high degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, suitable for demanding environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.), and its rectangular shape is constructed from a durable thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens. It has a sensing distance of 250mm and utilizes visible red light for detection. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON, with 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) and a quick response time of 2.8ms / 0.0028 s.
