About the product
Banner Engineering QS18VP6AF120Q7 is a sensor with an adjustable-field photo-electric function. It features an M18 threaded mount for installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +60°C. This sensor is designed with a background suppression system that includes potentiometer adjustment for precise operation. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector for connectivity. As part of the QS18..AF electronically adjustable background suppression series, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6. The supply voltage required for operation ranges from 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor has a rectangular shape and is constructed with a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It is capable of sensing distances up to 120mm and emits visible red light. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON, and it features 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 2.8ms or 0.0028 seconds.
