Banner Engineering QS18VP6LAF250 W/30 is a photo-electric sensor designed with an adjustable-field Class 2 laser, featuring a background suppression system with potentiometer adjustment. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +50 °C and is equipped with a pre-wired 30ft / 9m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. This sensor falls within the QS18..AF mechanically adjustable background suppression series and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc being nominal. The sensor has a rectangular shape, constructed from a thermoplastic housing with an Acrylic lens, and offers a sensing distance of 50 to 250mm. It emits visible red light with a wavelength of 658 nm and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. Additionally, it features 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 0.7ms / 0.0007 s.
