About the product
Banner Engineering QS18VP6LP is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for versatile applications, featuring an M18 threaded mount for secure installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and is constructed with a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens for durability. This sensor is designed in a rectangular shape and utilizes retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment for precise sensing. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy connection. Part of the QS18 series, it offers a sensing distance of up to 3.5m and employs visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm for detection. The QS18VP6LP operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) for signal processing. It is rated with a degree of protection IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring protection against dust and water ingress. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON for flexible application use.
