Banner Engineering QS18VP6LPQ1 is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for versatile applications, featuring an M18 threaded mount for easy installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and is built in a rectangular shape with a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. This sensor is part of the QS18 series and is designed to work in retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. It comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail that terminates with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector, ensuring a secure connection. The QS18VP6LPQ1 offers a sensing distance of up to 3.5m and utilizes visible red light for detection. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes a single digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) for signaling. With a quick response time of 0.6ms / 0.0006 s, this sensor is designed to meet the demands of fast-paced environments. It is protected against ingress with an IP67 NEMA 6 rating and operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.), making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
