Banner Engineering QS30EDV W/30 is a photo-electric sensor from the QS30 Expert series, designed with a diffuse mode TEACH mode for versatile application. It features an M30 threaded mount for secure installation and is equipped with a pre-wired 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy connection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55 °C and is housed in a thermoplastic casing with an acrylic lens, ensuring durability. It offers a sensing distance of up to 1.4m and utilizes visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm for detection. The QS30EDV W/30 supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and provides a digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) for signal processing. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and boasts a quick response time ranging from 0.3 to 1.8ms. This sensor is protected against ingress with an IP67 NEMA 6 rating, making it suitable for a variety of industrial environments.
